Hotel Klinze is situated in the small idyllic village Oudkerk. You'll find this original "Friese State" built in 1655 and re-established in its original style in 1986. Nowadays estate De Klinze - A Hampshire Classic Hotel is a brilliant ensemble of history, culture and modern luxury, based on the inner wellness. This estate is surrounded by 8 hectares of park, where you can stroll and cycle to your heart's content. It's also the owner of the "Stâl fan De Klinze". In this classic stable you'll find many Frisian Horses and some antique coaches, which are available for the hotel-guests.

Oudkerk is situated near the cities Leeuwarden, Dokkum, Sneek and Drachten, which all have their own sights and are absolutely worth while visiting.

'Trynwalden', the area around Giekerk, Oenkerk and Oudkerk is known for its woods. Landgoed De Klinze is a former estate of the nobility who lived in this part of the Netherlands. The parc around the hotel is very popular with hikers because of its winding-paths and bridges. The town Oudkerk also has an unique caracter.

Hotel rooms:
The hotel hosts 22 luxurious, comfortable rooms. All rooms are equipped with bath/shower and toilet, mini bar, safe, LCD TV, two luxurious fauteuils and large windows. The luxury hotelrooms are situated on the ground- and first floor.
The beautiful bridal suites and three estaterooms are situated on the second floor. These rooms are air conditioned and offer free coffee/tea making facilities. Also there are complementary bathrobe and slippers on these rooms.

Restaurant
Breakfast is served in the cosy bistro with fire place. This is also the ideal place for a coffee or tea break, a simple lunch or a dinner. During the summer the terrace of the bistro is open all day for snacks and drinks. The gourmet restaurant with stylish classic ambiance offers a wide variaty of international dishes and menu’s.
We kinldy request all our guests to minimize smoking in the gourmet restaurant and in the hotel rooms. The bistro and Lounge are both smoking areas.
