Casa Ciolina is a charming, luxurious residence situated in the foothills of ‘de Kempen’, a rural area in the Belgian province of Limburg close to Peer and Hasselt.
This beautiful Casa is member of the Erfgoedlogies, a prominent club for bed&Breakfasts , guest houses.
The 19th-century premises were formerly a soap factory and have recently been converted into a magnificent farmhouse with an inner courtyard. Although Casa Ciolina was originally a so-called ‘Teutenhuis’, which refers to a place where travelling salesmen from the region used to congregate, this location is a delightful experience for any kind of traveller. Casa Ciolina, owned by Maria and her originally Italian husband Enrico Ciolina, is a welcome breath of fresh air for anyone who enjoys subdued luxury.

Due to the antiquity of the building of Casa Ciolina, we want to remind all our guests that using the swimmingpool and walking through the premises with all the little stairs is at one's own risk.

Even though Casa Ciolina’s interior forms a harmonious entity, the owners strived to give each of their six charming guest rooms an individual character through the use of furniture and accessories. Four spacious rooms are located on the first floor. Dinner is prepared on request, primarily on weekends, but there is also a choice of good restaurants in the vicinity. Transport can be arranged, if desired. Casa Ciolina’s Jachtkamer (Hunting Room) can be used for special occasions. Breakfast is served in the stylish area that leads to the cosy living room. Hot and cold drinks are available all day long in the small guest kitchen. The old, spacious stable has been converted into a very luxurious wellness centre with a sauna and delightfully warm swimming pool.

• Het Poorthuys

  From De Koer, the guest enters the departure beside the poort by means of a small pantry with fridge. Only the wall behind the double bed still reminds to the old horse stable, of which the original bricklaying has been preserved. As a result, the chamber exhales a rural environment. By the institution with ancient closet and side table the space has been transformed to an intimate departure. To a round table for the window you can enjoy the lookout on the tightly moored, walled garden with catalpa, low buxus and grass field. The partitions of the wide walk-in shower with design radiator are with Grey flags cover, own toilet and you can use a TV.

  Guests whom want enjoy a connection with the court yard, choose for this room with wooden floor and ceiling and ancient double bed. In the room you will find a nice fauteuils and TV. The bathroom has a nice bath-tub, toilet and in the room you will find an ancient cupboard.

  its living, light and stylish environment forms a very romantic athmosphere. With the sky bed in a bridalsuite and leave themselves they imagine themselves guests by the first sunlight on wooden the floor. The bathroom with ancient chest of drawers, wash-hand basin, shower and toilet is a nice detail in the style of the bedroom. Minibar in the hallway to the rooms.

  The Library is a luxury suite: This room is reachable by using the stairways. This room has a double bed, but can de seperated as well (two single beds). Bathroom is equiped, with shower, toilet, and amenities. Please note: extra bed can be placed. This room can be used for 3 persons.
