Our à la carte restaurant d'Olde Schuur serves an excellent meal in a quiet setting. Whether you wish to enjoy a sumptuous meal or need to lay on a formal business luncheon, our kitchen brigade is perfectly up to the task.

Our specialties? … Each season has its delights: fresh asparagus cut in Drenthe itself, fragrant fresh mussels, and superb game dishes are the perfect supplements to our highly varied menu that is changed on a regular basis.

Do you need to have breakfast or take another meal at an unusual time? No problem! Flexibility is a matter of course for Hotel Erkelens.

Our restaurant is open from 11.30 to 20.30.
Breakfast is served from 07.00 to 10.00.
It also possible to order packed luncheons or breakfasts.

 Hotel Erkelens & Restaurant d'Olde Schuur are located in the centre of Rolde, on one of the characteristic village green. In the old days, Rolde was a small agrarian community; today, it is a friendly and versatile base for tourists or businessmen who want to spend time in the area. Because of its central location, Rolde is highly suited as the starting point for an exploration of the province Drenthe on foot, on horseback, by bicycle, or by car. Drenthe is not only known for its many cycle paths but also for its extensive network of bridle paths. Assen, Emmen, and Groningen are situated at 6, 28, and 30 km respectively, and the many forests and other beauty spots in the surrounding area are only a few minutes away.
