In the beautiful dune area across from the camping many birds and deer reside and in the early summer you can even hear the cuckoo call. There are wonderful cycle and hiking routes that take you to the most exquisite places on the island. If you cross the dunes you will reach the beach where you can delight in hiking, surfing, sailing, flying a kite and fishing. The Grevelingen Lake is known for its fascinating underwater world and you can also often see seals here!
