Open all year round, the hotel has a restaurant where you can enjoy lunch and dinner or a fine selection from the special guest menu.

Hotel de Tjattel is located between the church and the 'white lighthouse,' in the island's only village. Schiermonnikoog is the smallest community in The Netherlands, as well as the northernmost. It has a wonderful natural scenery and is an excellent place simply to enjoy the passage of time. Hotel de Tjattel will give you a warm welcome in its hospitable environment. The hotel has 14 double rooms and one family room for four persons. All rooms have their own shower, toilet, and television. Guests can use the wireless Internet connection for free. The hotel has a homely bistro and café. On nice days you can have a drink or a bit to eat at the sidewalk café. You can also relax with a drink in the cafe or admire the natural surroundings from the sunny terrace. The surrounding area is perfect for walking or cycling, while the beautiful forests and beach will charm you with their natural beauty.
Enjoy a warm welcome in the restaurant that serves a large choice of meat, fish and vegetarian dishes. It is open for lunch from 12:00 to 15:00 and for dinner from 16:30 to 21:00.
In the bar and sunny terrace there is a mixture of guests and residents and you can enjoy nice coffees and many other drinks.
The hotel was built in 1982 in the picturesque village of Schiermonnikoog. In the last 7 years all of the rooms and the restaurant have been renovated.

If you cannot take up your booking, you need to cancel no later than 7 day(s) before your date of arrival. Please take into account that the date of arrival starts at 0.00 am (CET.) Any booking not taken up and not cancelled 7 day(s) before arrival will be billed at a cost equivalent to the price of the first night. A different cancellation policy may apply for group bookings.
