Restaurant Hotel Merlet is a four star hotel, where hospitality, personal attention and exclusivity stands high in the standard. The hotel is located at the edge of the broadest dune area of the Netherlands in the village Schoorl, which is 45 minutes drive from Amsterdam. A peacefull surrounding where nature beauty, culture, sightseeing and beach recreation are the perfect ingredients for a good living.

Our hotel has 26 contemporary arranged hotel rooms, among which five junior suites, the Royal suite and seven suites with all a different decor. In the souterrain of the hotel is a swimming pool and a sauna, which is only open for hotel guests. On the ground floor, you will find the royale lounge and the Grand café. Our hotel guests can use the hotel bicycles for a relaxing excursion through the dune area to the beach.

  The standard double rooms have a limited size, but are equipped with all the facilities for a perfect night. The stylish light interior gives the rooms space and a pleasant environment. The facilities are: Bathroom, office with chair, telephone, analogue line and television with service, a number of standard rooms are provide with a balcony.

  The Royal rooms are equipped with a bath, separate shower, toilet, hairdryer, colour television and telephone. A few junior suites have a balcony. The four rooms have there own theme: air, water, earth and fire.

• The Seven Suites with 5-course dinner

  The seven suites have their own unique decoration and are inspired by the surrounding of Merlet: sun, sea, beach, dunes, woods, heathland and grass-land. The rooms with balcony have a perfect view on the dunes and the grass- land. The facilities of the suites: minibar, airconditioning, coffee maker, safe, separate toilet, luxury bathroom with bath and shower, fire place, LCD television with DVD player, telephone, bed from Jensen and VI Spring.

Cancellation & conditions

Your credit card details are required to guarantee your booking up to your arrival at the hotel. Payment will be made exclusively to the hotel. If you cannot take up your booking, you need to cancel no later than 7 day(s) before your date of arrival. Please take into account that the date of arrival starts at 0.00 am (CET.) Any booking not taken up and not cancelled 7 day(s) before arrival will be billed at a cost equivalent to the price of the first night. A different cancellation policy may apply for group bookings. The hotel will contact you within 24 hrs. if this is the case.
