You will find a typical village(De Cocksdorp) nearby. And of course the island has many fine nature reseves. The hotel borders the Roggesloot and the Slufter, the Eierlandse Dunes and the Schorren, which are more than worth a visit. The quiet north of the island offers every opportunity for outdoor recreation such as cycling, hiking,surfing,sailing catamarans, golf or horse-back riding through the woods and dunes.
