With a sandy beach that stretches for around 30 km, Texel has lots of space. There are different beach entrances, where you will find beach pavilions, among other things. At post 9 (near Den Hoorn) and post 28 (near De Cocksdorp) the beach pavilions are open all year round.
There are lifeguards at most locations in Summer. Swimming is permitted along the entire North Sea beach, except for a stretch between posts 31 and 33.
