American’s Brasserie – just like the rest of the hotel – is decorated in warm, traditional tints creating a particularly enjoyable and welcoming atmosphere.
The kitchen is open daily from 12:00 to 21:30 for snacks as well as for full meals. The menu offers a selection of international dishes for lunch and dinner. You can dine à la carte or order one of the menus or the dish of the day. You can choose from an extensive menu.
Larger parties – up to 50 people – are accommodated in the Boegzaal. You can also enjoy an extensive brunch here.

Since 1917, Hotel American has enjoyed the status of one of the best-known hotels in Venlo. It has 18 pleasant, affordable and comfortable rooms, an agreeable pavement café, a fine Brasserie with bar and the famous Boegzaal (a room designed in the shape of a ship’s bow). The hotel is situated close to the railway station and the shopping centre. Being within easy reach of the motorways and on the edge of the Maasduinen national park, it is an ideal base for commercial travellers, tourists and other guests staying in North Limburg.
