We have facilities for disabled people and there is an elevator in the hotel. The hotel is known for its flexibility. We have no problems with early breakfasts and late dinners. The hotel is centered in a very nice surrounding; forrests, bicycle routes and attractions as the zoo in Emmen, TT and Superbike races in Assen and the famous megaliths.
Hotel Abey de Westerburcht has been extended with Theme Grand Café la Trappe since April 2001. This Grand Café is tuned to Abey de Koningshoeven in Berkel-Enschot where the only Trappistbeer in Holland is brewed, la Trappe. There are 7 Trappist beers in the world; 6 in Belgium and 1 in Holland. We have all the La Trappe beers in stock in our Hotelbar. To brew a Trappist beer there are 3 conditions:

- The recipe is from the monks
- The beer is brewn within the monastery
- The monks participate in the brewproces
The Grand Café brings you back in the past; leaded windows, murals, torches, oak-wood floors, plasterwork ceilings and cloisters.
