Golden Tulip Midden-Drenthe is situated in the centre of the wooded province of Drenthe, a few meters outside the lively village Westerbork. Midden-Drenthe is one of the finest parts of the Northern Netherlands with areas of forest, heather land, pools and ponds. You will find here endless possibilities for cycling and walking tours (most marked with signposts). In addition to the beautiful scenery, Midden-Drenthe has many places of interest such as e.g. village Orvelte and the dolmens (hunebedden). A visit to the famous zoo “Noorder Dierenpark” in Emmen, the Drents Museum in Assen or a shopping/city trip is also worth the effort. For business guests, this hotel is an excellent location as well.
