Wijk aan Zee

The beach at Wijk aan Zee is the broadest beach on the Dutch coast, offering numerous possibilities for enjoying the outdoors. Relaxing in the summer sun, enjoying an autumn breeze, taking a winter walk or feeling the spring sunshine.

Wijk aan Zee borders directly on an open dune area, the North Holland Dune Reservation. This area, with its marvellous views, is off-limits to motorized vehicles, so that you can walk and bike for miles without being disturbed.

The village of Wijk aan Zee has been a resort for years. The small and friendly village belongs to the municipality of Beverwijk, known for its Bazaar / Black Market.

Other cities in the area are also worth a visit. What do you think of a visit to the harbour at Ijmuiden, the attractive city centre of Haarlem or the world-famous cheese market at Alkmaar. And of course you can’t miss a visit to Amsterdam, a magnificent city only half an hour from the hotel.

Information about Fletcher Hotel Restaurant Zeeduin

Hotel-Restaurant Zeeduin is located at the edge of the village of Wijk aan Zee and just 50 metres from the beach. Wijk aan Zee boasts the broadest beach on the Dutch coast and is surrounded by an extensive dune area crossed by a number of bicycle paths and walking trails.
