Because Wolvega is a central place in North-Holland, it's the best start to explore the north part of The Netherlands.
It's a good place for a bicycle-holiday. (You can place your bicycle behind a locked door).
A trip to Leeuwarden or Groningen is also very nice to do.
You can go to the Groninger Museum which is a must to do!
