     Very helpful and friendly staff.
     The size of the room and bathroom. We had other expectations based on the website.

     Great location
     They do not meet customer needs. The room was dirty and there were so many dead insects everywhere, on the beds, etc. we asked three times to clean the chandelier because it was full of insects and they didn't do it. We asked for two extra pillows that were never delivered to us. The holiday was a little ruined.

     High ceilings and the outside terrace
     I expected a hotel room so was a bit disappointed when I turned up and it’s more like a hostel and you didn’t have toothpaste when I called reception haha.... the room was a bit worse for wear with holes in the walls etc. I won’t be back but wanted to leave my feedback that you should probably change your name as you’re more of ‘rooms iris’ rather than a hotel.

     The room was very clean (daily cleaning and towels change withut additional fees), and very large. The windows and its view on the internal courtyard very adorable!
     The stairs, too narrow without an elevator, but I guess is a common problem in Amsterdam

     Good location, friendly & helpful.
     A bit small & sparse, but I guess that's standard for Amsterdam. Limited breakfast.

     Het hotel was goed gelegen Dubbel bed Kamer was voldoende groot
     De receptie lag beneden en was niet zo duidelijk te vinden De kamer onder het dak was ongelofelijk warm, een aircosysteem zou geen overbodige luxe zijn Iets meer aandacht voor een propere badkamer

     Mooi uitzicht
     Vuilbak was niet geleegd. Douchekop was kapot. De handdoeken waren vuil. Op de lakens lag het vol met dode vliegjes. Hoeslaken was gescheurd.

     Behulpzaam personeel
     Een bed was vies, het was niet verschoond. In algemene zin als ook de kwaliteit van het ontbijt vonden we het meer een hostel dan een hotel. De prijs/kwaliteit verhouding was uit balans.

     The rooms were kept very clean and it felt secure. The garden out the back was a nice addition
     The rooms were extremely basic and small for the price paid. Although in a "quiet" room at the back, noise traveled very badly from the corridors and slamming doors, so if you have noisy neighbours, you will definitely hear them

     La chambre est toute petite mais pour un séjour touristique cela est suffisant. L’hôtel ne se situe pas en plein centre d’Amsterdam mais est proche du quartier de Pijp, quartier très agréable. Le prix est relativement correct par rapport aux prix pratiqués à Amsterdam.
     Des petits points pourraient facilement être améliorés pour rendre le séjour plus agréable, par exemple, la moitié des lampes ne marchaient pas : deux lumières sur quatre ne fonctionnaient pas dans la salle de bain, les lampes de chevet n’avaient, quant à elles, même pas d’ampoules. De plus, le lit n’était pas refait correctement tous les jours.

     The location is very good and you can easily walk into the city centre or to local metro station making travel to the city and airport easy. The hotel was generally very clean.
     The initial welcome to the hotel was good, however the staff in general were unhelpful and the lady we dealt with was a completely disinterested. The second night the weather changed and the room became very cold, at this point we found the heating controls to be not working. We contact reception around 4pm and was told they would attempt to fix, and around 8pm this had not been completed and the same lady confirmed someone would be with us at 9pm as their usual handy man was not on site. It later turned out that this was lies, and that by 9pm this lady had finished work for the day! Totally unacceptable. The night shift guy supplied extra blankets, but was still very cold. The next day the manager apologised and agreed to fix or move rooms. Later that day we came back from a day out, to find the heating controls had not been fixed, instead the heating had been fixed to full power meaning our room was now a sauna! Nothing could be done, we were not offered a room change! The manager should of checked his handy mans work, and changed us rooms when he was unable to resolve the heating controls issue. All in all, the customer service and poor maintenance was simply appalling. On check out we wished to make a complaint, and asked for contact details of who to formally write to, to be told no details would be given! We were informed the owners of the hotel would make contact over the weekend, this didn't happen! MORE LIES. A 2 star hotel granted, but certain things should be a given, heating one of them and this hotel fails! The basin only has cold running water, not hot! The bed was like sleeping on the floor, very hard The pillows were again hard and lump! All in ALL there are better same priced hotels, and I would AVOID THIS ONE!

     The location and cleanliness
     The staff. One very nice and efficient young woman and a very disagreable,unpolite man. He locked the door to thebreakfast room when it was open time!impossible to go all day in the garden because of locked doors!!
